Perform dog grooms on different coat types


Application

This unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to groom the different coat types that occur in dogs.

This unit applies to individuals working in the companion animal industry sector where dog grooming services are provided under supervision. These individuals take responsibility for their own work and for the quality of the work of others. This includes using discretion and judgement in the selection, allocation and use of available resources.
